This notice explains how PadelRank processes personal data when you visit our websites, create a partner account, or integrate our API. We design the service so integrators remain responsible for their end-user privacy programmes.
Who we are
PadelRank provides a B2B player-rating API and partner portal. For data protection enquiries, use the contact form on this website. We do not publish direct email addresses on our public pages.
Roles (controller vs processor)
PadelRank acts as data controller for partner account data, billing records, API audit logs, and messages you send via our contact form. When you submit player or match data through the API, you are typically the controller for that data and PadelRank processes it under your instructions to deliver the rating service.
Data we process
Partner accounts: organisation name, work email, authentication identifiers, subscription and API-key metadata. API usage: request metadata, hashed API keys, audit events. Player skill data: usernames, display fields, match records, and rating outputs submitted or generated via the API according to your integration. Website: contact form content, anti-abuse signals, and essential session cookies on the partner portal.
Legal bases (GDPR)
Contract performance for providing the API and portal. Legitimate interests for security, abuse prevention, and service improvement (balanced against your rights). Legal obligations where applicable. Consent only where we explicitly ask for it (for example non-essential cookies, if enabled).
Retention
We keep data for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Rating history may be retained to preserve sporting integrity across the network. You may request deletion subject to legal and integrity constraints.
International transfers
Infrastructure providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA or UK, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and port data, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Submit requests through the contact form.
Security
We use authentication, access controls, encryption in transit, and monitoring to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The partner service is B2B and not directed at children. Integrators must comply with applicable age rules for their own users.
